This is Abigail Anne. Her mother, Shilah, is the closest i'll ever come to having a daughter. Shilah has been through a lot in life. Her folks divorced when she was young, and they don't get along. And they are not as dependable as some. She loves her parents, but she knows that they have a lot going on and haven't always been the most reliable. She has sort of adopted Jack and i as backup parents. So, her husband, Nate, got an extra set of in-laws, kind of. Like anyone needs that. Anyway . . .
Here she is! She is just over a month old. Tiny. She weighed in at 6 lbs. and some ounces. Can't remember. Her birth took some days. Water broke on Sat. and she didn't arrive until Tues. morning. And they had to go get her, c section. I guess she was comfortable where she was. Right now she sleeps and eats. But she is so cute doing those things!
Abigail has given me the experience of being a grandparents. Kind of. I want to go out and buy all the cute little pink clothes i can find! She doesn't need toys yet, and i'm not a big fan of too many of those anyway. But when she can read, books, books, books!!! She is a precious little life. One i'm very thankful for. Thought you'd like to meet her!
